Telecommunications Industry

The telecommunication industry is one of the most rapidly changing industries known today. It is this kind of change that keeps Groth Engineering at the forefront of machining technology. We know that higher frequency, means closer tolerances on machined parts. To that end we have made it a policy to keep our equipment up to the latest standards in the industry, that’s why none of our CNC machining centers are older than 3 years.

Our parts are used for microwave towers, cell phone receiving and transmission, heat sinks, RFI shielding, housings and enclosures and much more. Many of these parts require high-value surface finishing, plating and refining to resist corrosion and wear, preserve conductivity, and enhance solderability and paint adhesion. We handle many exotic materials that are often used in the telecommunications equipment manufacturing process.

At Groth Engineering our project teams consist of both engineers and machinists. Our team works with you to give you a complete manufacturing solution that meets all your specifications and works well in production. Our customers have told us that the components we make for them work better than those same components made by some of their other suppliers. Now that’s a great complement.

Material traceability is never a problem. All material is inspected and cross referenced with the BOM and/or prints before it gets to the shop floor. Although we are not always required to do so, we only use materials made in USA. It supports our economy and we are sure the materials are pure and to proper specifications; it makes a difference.

Groth Engineering takes pride in our inspection process. All parts are inspected every step of the way from the receiving of the material through first article inspection and throughout the production run. This allows us to monitor production closely to ensure that the parts you receive are ready for final assembly. In-process and final inspection reports and always available. Cindy, our office manager, uses her aircraft industry background to make sure everything is always in order.

The Telecommunications industry plays a major roll at Groth Engineering, today and for the future, we are ready.
